Lori and I visited Vietnam in 2010. They are a wonderful group of people. Happy and inviting.
We spent several days in the Mekong River delta and took a boat out onto the Hau River to witness the Floating Market.
Each boat had a long pole up in the air and would stick an onion on the end if they were selling onions, or a cabbage if they were selling cabbage, etc. A time honored tradition that still works.
On the shore of the river in the city of Can Tho, this young woman was selling produce in the open-air produce market.
