In September 2014 Lori and I traveled to Prague in the Czech Republic. We spent several days together their, then Lori joined a Rick Steves Eastern Europe tour while I rented a car and took off for a Eastern Europe tour on my own.
After photographing Poland and Slovakia, I arrived in Budapest in the late afternoon
and stayed at a hotel in Buda.
On the following night I walked to the Pest side of the Danube and took this image.
The image shows Szechenyi Lanchid (The Chain Bridge) spanning the Danube River.
In the lower left of the image is a unique Holocaust Memorial (see detail below).

The second one is a detail of Castle Hill, which was destroyed in World War II, then rebuilt.
