Prague is one of the magnificent cities of Europe. There is the old town on the east side of the Vltava River and the Prague Castle on the west side. Our hotel was in the old town and we spent most of our time on that side of the river. We did spend one day on the east side and toured Prague Castle and wandered the streets. When crossing from one side to the other, we used the famous Charles Bridge. It is a medieval stone arch bridge started in 1357 under King Charles IV and finished in the 15th century.

We came upon this view of the city while we were leaving Prague Castle.
This brick wall separates the castle from the city proper.
