In June of 2015 our friends Jerry and Renee did a home exchange in the small town of Grand Barachois in New Brunswick, Canada. They invited us to join them and we happily agreed.
Lori and I flew to Boston, rented a car and drove along the coast through New Hampshire and Maine before crossing into Canada. The drive was great and I was lucky enough to get
several wonderful images along the way.

After meeting up with Jerry and Renee we ventured out to Prince Edward Island, the Bay of Fundy and Nova Scotia. In the far eastern part of Nova Scotia, on Cape Breton Island if the Louisbourg Fortress. This is a partial reconstruction of a French fortress from the 18th century.

This image of six porcelain jars with wooden lids was taken in the kitchen of the fortress.
Below is a detail from the image.
