Lori and I travelled to Portugal in September 2017.
We rented a car and drove all over the country enjoying the diversity of this beautiful land.
In the central part of the country, south of Nazare (the famous surfing spot),
we spent several nights in the quaint hilltop town of Obidos.
We stayed at a fantastic bed and breakfast in the shadow of the Castelo de Obidos.
This castle was build in the 9th century.
This city has been occupied by the Romans, the Visigoths, the Muslims and finally by modern day Portugal.
While walking the town I saw these two leaves laying on the street.
