Lori's parents moved to the town of Mt Shasta, California in 1984.
We have visited them countless times over the years and I have photographed the mountain in all four seasons and under all conditions.
From our home in Orange County California it is about an eleven hour drive.
When we had very young kids, much longer.
In November of 2012 I took this exposure near the town of Edgewood, north of Mt Shasta.
Even though it was November, there are still many fall colors in the trees.
The ranch in the foreground has many horses and some cows.
