Lori's parents moved to the town of Mt Shasta, California in 1984.
We have visited them countless times over the years and I have photographed the mountain in all four seasons and under all conditions.
From our home in Orange County California it is about an eleven hour drive.
When we had very young kids, much longer.
This exposure of the western slope was taken in the morning.
I have always loved the single cloud in the sky that lends balance to the overall image.
