Lori and I visited Vietnam in 2010. They are a wonderful group of people. Happy and inviting.
Our flight to Saigon was delayed, so after landing, instead of spending the day and night in Saigon, we had to get a taxi right away and drive to Can Tho. Can Tho is located in the Mekong Delta area in the south of the country.
On our first day there, we boarded a boat to go out on the river and experience the Floating Market.
Hundreds of boats on the river are selling or buying goods. If a particular boat was selling cabbages, then they would have a long pole sticking up from the boat with a cabbage stuck on top to let buyers know what they were selling.
It was busy and fascinating.
