My best friend's daughter, Rachel, was teaching English in the country of Georgia and he wanted to visit her. He asked me to go with him in 2011 and I readily agreed.
Rachel was living in the house owned by Iza and Giorgi.
On one of the days we all went into the capital city of Tbilisi.
A pretty city that still had images of the old Soviet Republic.
One of the restaurants in the middle of town was called "KGB Still Watching You".
While we were walking the town I saw this man smoking a cigarette and asked him if I could take a photograph. He consented and I exposed this image of his face.
At times when I print a black and white image I love to leave one area of the image in color.
