Lori and I visited Croatia in 2012. In the middle of the trip we drove out on a peninsula to the town of Orebic, where we boarded a car ferry to the island of Korcula. This is the place of Marco Polo's birth according to some Historians. Others say he was born in Venice. We spent two nights in the city of Korcula and visited Marco Polo's house.
When I was high up in a building in the center of town I exposed this image of a small sailboat with the roofline of Korcula in the foreground.
