In September 2014 Lori and I traveled to Prague in the Czech Republic. We spent several days together their, then Lori joined a Rick Steves Eastern Europe tour while I rented a car and took off for a Eastern Europe tour on my own.
My first stop after Prague was Krakow, Poland. I arrived there several days before Lori's tour.
Our itineraries overlapped geographically, but rarely at the same time.
Krakow is a beautiful and fascinating city with a rich history.
I came upon this drawing on the front of a building near Schindler's factory.
Oskar Schindler was credited with saving the lives of 1,200 Jews during World War II.
