Lori and I visited Vietnam in 2010. They are a wonderful group of people. Happy and inviting.
After spending time in the Mekong Delta and along the eastern shore, we to Hanoi, then drove to Ha Long Bay.
In Ha Long Bay we boarded a Red Dragon junk and spent two days and one night on the water.
The bay is full of the small green islands and islets that are iconic to the area.
As we were returning to the mainland we passed this pretty little village called Hon Gay.
