In June of 2018 Lori and I flew to Helsinki, Finland and spent several days there.
Our hotel was near downtown and the harbor, so everything was walking distance.
This is a beautiful city and walking friendly. We walked to Temppeliaukio Church (the Rock Church).
We took a boat to Soumenlinna Island and spent hours touring the Fortress there.
Back in the city we had several of our meals at Kappeli, a glass restaurant on the narrow Esplanadi.
Just a short distance away is the Kanavaranta area of the harbor.
