Prague is one of the magnificent cities of Europe. There is the old town on the east side of the Vltava River and the Prague Castle on the west side. Our hotel was in the old town and we spent most of our time on that side of the river. We did spend one day on the east side and toured Prague Castle and wandered the streets. When crossing from one side to the other, we used the famous Charles Bridge. It is a medieval stone arch bridge started in 1357 under King Charles IV and finished in the 15th century.
During our third day in the city, we visited the Mucha Museum.
Alphonse Mucha was a Czech painter, illustrator and graphic artist.
During the Art Nouveau period he lived and worked in Paris.
He is famous for his distinctly stylised and decorative theatrical posters.

As Lori and I were leaving the museum, we stopped for a self portrait.
