My best friend's daughter, Rachel, was teaching English in the country of Georgia and he wanted to visit her. He asked me to go with him in 2011 and I readily agreed.
This image was taken in Georgia's capital, Tblisi. After hiking up to the Mother of Georgia statue we had a grand view of the city with Betlamu Church in the foreground.
The curved blue object on the left edge is the Bridge of Peace, which spans the Kura River
and the large church in the distance is the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tblisi.
