I love the tranquil scene of Dana Point Harbor in the early morning.
I set my alarm for 4:00 am. After getting up and driving to the headlands I set up my tripod and waited for the right moment. This was an unusual morning, astrologically speaking, because just before the sun came up five planets could be seen at the same time.
As it turns out only Jupiter and Venus were bright enough to show up in the final image.
